The first heavy snowfall of this winter came overnight, blanketing the plant area in white and covering roads and equipment with thick snow. At five o’clock in the morning, before dawn broke, icy winds howled and snowflakes swirled relentlessly. The snowstorm was a call to action! On-duty shift personnel at IGSR sprang into action, gathering swiftly under dim lights with snow-clearing tools in hand. Thus began a determined battle to clear the "snow-clogged arteries," aimed at ensuring safe production amidst the blizzard. After more than three hours of continuous effort, the snow-clearing operation achieved its initial goals. By the time day-shift employees arrived, the main roads were clear, inspection routes in the field areas were tidy and well-defined, and administrative zones were safe for passage. This early-morning snowstorm response not only cleared the snow from the plant’s roads but also eliminated potential safety risks in production operations. With frost-reddened hands and damp work uniforms, the on-duty personnel upheld the solemn commitment of "safety first" amid the vast white snow. Their simple yet resolute actions embodied the unique responsibility and dedication of chemical industry workers, building a solid barrier to ensure the safe and stable operation of the plant under extreme weather conditions.
