On March 4^th-5^th, 2024, IGSR was invited to participate in the 5^th Synthetic Rubber Industry Conference held in Ningbo city. This conference brought together top enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the synthetic rubber industry. Experts from various fields made detailed summaries of recent years’ operational status of China's rubber industry, as well as analyzed and forecasted the global and Chinese macroeconomic situation in 2024. In the new year, the destocking cycle of commodities has come to an end, and petrochemical products are expected to recover coupled with the stimulation of relevant domestic policies. However, in the context of a lack of momentum in the global economy, the road to recovery is bound to be winding and long.

This conference helped us to have a more comprehensive understanding of the situation in China's synthetic rubber industry. All participating enterprises had heated discussions on how to achieve differentiated development in the new economic cycle. Everyone drew on collective wisdom and absorb all useful ideas to jointly seek a win-win development path for China's synthetic rubber industry.
